This will be my first post on my new blog documenting how it is being a mature student doing Digital Technologies (Cyber Security). I have been learning how to code in Python (alison.com) and I am about to finish one certification and start right away on another Python zero to hero course (udemy).

My experience with student finance has been lets say OK at best and I understand they are under immense pressure at this time of the year so getting the application to be approved is taking longer than I would like. They have already given me an estimate of how much I could be paid and that all the fees were correct, we will have to see how it goes next week

Universal Credit…. Well whats to say about that. They have been very hands off with me for the total of my claim and when I have tried to engage with them they simply push me away gently, I am not complaining about this as I have seen many horror stories online and on TV, I am not expecting anything from them so if I get something that will be a bonus.

I will keep this blog updated with lesson material and hopefully if I am allowed transcripts from lectures.
