I am going to give some advice and explain why I give that advice.

Dont go to university, do your A levels but think about not going to university. I didnt get my A levels and because of that I have to attend classes for an extra year costing £21k, When I finish my course I will have been studying 4 years so my debt will be £84k and that is being charged at an interest rate of 7% so in essence you will need to earn approx £65k just to pay the interest accrued that year. I plan on getting a good job so that I can pay extra and get rid of this debt as soon as possible even if that means continuing to live like a peasant for another 5-10 years. There are plenty of resources for learning online but they are not structured like a degree but give the same content. Lets hope that things change or kids are going to be shackled with debt for the rest of their working lives as the student loan no longer expires like it did in the past it will follow you to the grave……
