Had a lovely conversation with a lady from Solent University yesterday who asked if I had put in to get student finance and to check that I knew what I was getting myself into, she also mentioned that I have to attend all weeks worth of activities during welcome week. Am not sure if I am going to be in all week because that would be a killer to get to from here for 5 days. If that is the case then will just have to suck it up and prepare for a long week, hopefully there will be lots going on so the time will pass quickly and then we wait for teaching to start a couple of weeks later.
